les tenemos el análisis del Vizio Co-Star con Google TV, la verdad nos hemos quedado un poco descontentos con las opciones que uno tiene al momento de navegar por la interface de usuario que Google nos provee en este producto, aquí les vamos a dar algunos comentarios con respecto a diferentes puntos:
Contenido media: La idea de este producto es proporcionar contenido media, en el cual vamos a encontrar algunas aplicaciones como Amazon, YouTube, Netflix y google play, algo que no hemos encontrado es Hulu Plus el cual también provee de contenido media, en la mayoría de estas aplicaciones uno debe de registrarse y pagar una mensualidad para poder gozar del contenido ya sean películas como también series de televisión por lo que posiblemente no sea muy útil en países de Sudamérica que cuentan con estos servicios.

VIZIO Television & PLEX Server APP: Connection Disconnected Error Message
I'm on 2 new Vizio Smart TVs and both of them have the PLEX app (version 2.4.36) on them.
I'm a paid PLEX user.
Neither TV's Plex app will recognize my internet connection and both TVs give the error:
"The network connection is disconnected. Please check your TV's network settings, Ethernet connection, and/or wireless network then try again."
On both of the affected TVs I'm able to watch Netflix, YouTube, etc. as well as listen to Pandora, so I know the network connection isn't an issue with either device.
The TV in the living room is hardwired into the network. The TV in the kid's bedroom (not featured in this video) is connected wirelessly.
In this video I show 5 devices all connected to my Plex server and working just fine:
- LG Gpad 8 (Wireless)
- Acer Chromebook (Wireless)
- HP Elitepad (Wireless)
- My PC (Wired)
- Chromecast (Wireless)
There are tons of threads on the Plex forums of people saying they are having a similar issue and the only solution is to bring in a third-party device like a Chromecast or Roku. While this solution WORKS, it's not ideal since the app on the TVs worked until a few weeks ago.
My Plex server is setup so that "Secure connections" are set to "Preferred" and "Remote Access" is setup and working.
Also, my Plex server is setup on a dedicated laptop running Ubuntu, however I had the same issue when I had Plex server running on my Windows 10 PC. My Plex server is hardwired to the network.

My Vizio TV has no sound!
Make sure someone didn't mute it while you weren't looking.
It went mute while I was looking.
Did anyone else adjust the volume?
No, it isn't turned down to nearly mute, and I tried turning up the volume just in case that was the issue.
Make sure someone didn't mute the speakers.
I don't think they mute. They don't have an obvious button on them to do so.
I'm also assuming your speakers are plugged in.
I don't think it uses external speakers, just what is on the TV.
You can try to switch the signal source to find out what the problem is. For example, if you don't hear sound from the cable DVR but do from a DVD, the problem isn't the DVD cables connected to the TV.
I'd have to check that out.
If the DVR didn't work but the DVD player did, you could shut down the TV and cable box, unplug the cable from power, reconnect the HDMI cables properly and securely, plug the cable box in and reboot.
You're telling me to reboot the cable box.
That's a possible solution if it is the cable box. And it is the cable box if the sound stops working as soon as you get a new one.
And I thought it was annoying to reboot my PC or TV.
If you aren't getting sound from the TV, you can go to menu, clear memory and factory defaults or reset factory defaults, depending on the model, then hit OK.
That's not rebooting the TV. That's a brain wipe.
So unplug the TV from the wall for five minutes so it has to reload its software. If that doesn't work and all the cables are fine, you may have to look at repairing something expensive.
I wish I could test all the things that could be wrong.
If you have an audio output jack, you could try playing sound through a speaker like a computer speaker. Then you're determining if the problem is the cables to the speaker, the connection on the TV or the TV.
I suppose I could clean the ports on the TV.
Or make sure the cables don't have anything broken.
And those are easier to swap out than the various boards in the TV.
Another setting that could cause the audio to conk out at seemingly random is Separate Audio Program or digital audio.
I've heard of that, but I don’t see how that explains why I can't hear stuff now.
If you have SAP turned on and the audio shuts off when shows with SAP come on, it means that the cable box isn't set up right to process SAP digital audio signals.
That's either a setting issue or cable box problem.
You can try switching channels to see if the audio comes back if you watch something else. Or make sure the TV is set to the third channel for most models.
It isn't as simple as changing channels. I don't get sound at all.
Then make sure your audio digital output is as HDMI as your cables.
Vizio P-Series 4K HDR Home Theater Display Unboxing
The Vizio P-Series Home Theater Display is a bit unorthodox when compared to other 4K HDTVs in that it ships with a fully-functional 6" Android tablet. Instead of Android TV or other visual UI with apps, the Vizio P-Series Display is built entirely around Google Cast and requires you to cast all your content over to it. The reason it is called a 'Home Theater Display' and not an 'HDTV' is because it does not feature a TV tuner built-in. Some specs worth noting that will be covered in detail in our full review include the Ultra HD (3840x2160) resolution, Dolby Vision High Dynamic Range support, 5 HDMI ports, Bluetooth, and 126 local dimming modes.

In this video we are going to show how to replace the main board in this Vizio E601i-A3 model. We will go over the boards in the TV. Here we have the main board, this takes in all your inputs, so it has your HDMi, RCA connections, VGA, Tuner connection and everything there. So this is your main board here, this cable here goes over to the controls on the side of the TV, where you can turn on your TV, or change the channel. This cable here runs to the power supply board, these two LVDS cables run to the T-Con board, which is right here. These wires go to the speakers.
Over here we have the power supply board, it has one cable here that goes to the main board. Then here it has one cable that goes to the panel and here a connection that goes to where you plug in the TV. That is off the camera shot.
Down here we have the T-con board. The T-con board has the two LVDS cables that go to the main board and then we have two ribbon cables here that go to the panel.
In order to replace the main board, we will want to start by disconnecting all of the cables on here. We will now show a close-up to see how to disconnect them. Disconnect all of these cables and connections and then remove the screws that hold this main board to the panel.
Pull these connections out. Be very careful with the LVDS cables as they are very fragile. So we have disconnected all of the connections, now we will go ahead and remove the screws that hold the board to the panel.
We have removed all of the screws and now we will pull the board off the panel. Then you can put your replacement board in the exact same location that you just removed your other board. Then we will put the screws in to attach the main board to the panel. Then we will reconnect all these cables and connections. Pinch in on the side of these LVDS cables. Push them in tight. There you have it, we have replaced the main board for this TV.

When it comes to Android TV we have little new to report. After several software updates, the operating system is more stable than when we reviewing last year’s TV, and Sony has added missing features such as recording but besides that it is basically the same. Sony has even chosen to use the same hardware in the 2016 TVs so all improvements come from software optimization. The best part about Android TV is probably that it has full Google Cast support baked in. Android TV is still not what we had hoped for.
In more ways than not XD93 (X93D) resemble last year’s X85C or w800C. It is not very similar to last year’s X93C that it on paper replaces. This has to do with Sony’s choice of panel but also because Sony has chosen to remove the big elephant ear speakers. However, XD93 also offers some neat hardware upgrades over X85C in the form of semi local dimming. The introduction price is almost on par with last year’s X85C.
The most obvious improvement that XD93 brings to the table is HDR support. Besides that Sony has managed to eliminate the bright edges that we saw on last year’s X85C. On the other hand, clouding is back, which is not surprising given Sony’s choice of edge LED. The adaptive backlight control will to some extent eliminate these issues and it is required for reproducing HDR content but it is not a perfect solution, and it struggles with subtitles.
On the feature side XD93 has a thinner profile but significantly worse speakers. It also has a new remote, which - in our eyes - is another step back from an already poor remote.
