I guess you shouldn't expect anymore than 2 years out of your Vizio TV. This is a 46" Active 3D TV ($1500 on sale) , purchased from Sam's Club a little less than 2 years ago. Yesterday (9/15/2013) it decided to die. On top of that, I bought the matching Vizio 3D Blue Ray player at the same time. The first player died within a week (Thank you Sam's Club for a quick and easy replacement). The second one no longer plays new Blue Ray discs. Tech Support says they can't do anything about that b/c Sony owns the rights to the updates, and Vizio has no plans of releasing any updates to fix the problem. Short story long, do yourself a favor and don't spend any more money than $300 on any Vizio product. You will eventually regret it.
